Who we are
Drive 2 Arrive is a Tipperary based company which specialises in offering advanced driver tuition to both individuals and companies alike. The instruction provided by us is based on the Police system of driving, which is used by both the British and Irish Police.
Our instructors are all qualifed Garda Driving Instructors, are approved by the RSA (Road Safety Authority) and are IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) examiners. The level of driving instruction we provide is of a very high standard and our courses are designed to improve yours skills and awareness, helping to reduce your chances of being involved in or contributing to a road collision.
Our chief driving instructor is Gerry Buckley. Gerry is a retired Garda Driving Instructor from the Garda College, Templemore and qualified as a Class 1 Police Driving Instructor at the Scottish Police College. He regularly conducts driver examinations on behalf of the IAM and is a regular motoring related contributor to publications such as the Garda Review magazine.
Gerry is a member of Airso. Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers is an independent organisation whose aim is to provide a platform for all who work in the wider area of road safety, whether that be, just to name a few, as a road safety officer, an emergency service worker, a driving instructor, a road or highways engineer, collision investigator, or in vehicle safety product design or development. The wide membership base provides links and personal contact with like minded people that can offer information, advice and support.
